Activities
Through a number of activities AFT tries to connect students with entrepreneurship and technology. Specific activities of AFT intend to provide recruiting possibilities for you and students.

CleanTechChallenge
The Cleantech Challenge is a worldwide competition where teams of students work out a business plan, covering sustainable development, competing to win a price of £10,000 at the finals in London, organized by the London Business School. Only one Belgian team will be selected to be part of the finals in London.

Hackathon
TThis event is best described as an invention marathon where students with interests in technology can participate to learn, build and share creations in an exciting and welcoming atmosphere. During this event, they will have the opportunity to program and build prototypes based on their ideas. Apart from this, teams also have to create a business plan based on their case.

Student StartUp Trip
Over the past years, AFT has taken a group of 35 high-potential students to startup hubs around the globe. These students are selected based on their entrepreneurial mindset, interest in technology, and ambitions. Previous editions included Berlin, London, Stockholm, New York, San Francisco, Singapore and Belgium.

Workshops
Besides our events, we organize several workshops spread over the year. During our workshops we want to give students the opportunity to get more knowledge about technological topics. This can be done through a highly interactive approach whereby the student, for example, learns to set up a chatbot.

Masterclasses
A masterclass is a series of consecutive workshops about one specific topic. This ensures there is enough time to handle the subjects extensively and to give students a hands-on experience. The masterclass is given in collaboration with partnered companies to guarantee the upmost quality, which we always strive for.
